New JCC Twitter Account
A key part of our mission supporting JCC Fellows is to facilitate personal connections with Board Members and with the broader scientific community during this critical career stage. Towards this end, we have established a new Twitter account to connect past and present Fellows and Board Members.
Although Twitter may be frequently thought of as a water cooler for poorly-behaving billionaires, the subsection of “Science Twitter” has been surprisingly useful for many scientists to network, troubleshoot, advertise, debate, and discuss contemporary issues in real time.
If you are on Twitter we want to connect with you and help to celebrate, highlight, and promote your exciting news such as articles/preprints, new jobs, science issues you have been considering, etc. To help us do so, please message the account or include our handle “@JCChildsFund” in your post.
